On July 26, 2009, Cleveland woke up and didn't know whose hand was next to him. It was so numb that he didn't know it was his. He tried to get up, but fell. He then called 911 from his cell phone because he knew the warning signs of stroke and knew he was in trouble. He went to the hospital and was treated with tPA. Cleveland had to work hard for his recovery - he started out in a wheelchair, then went to a walker, move to a cane and can now walk freely. He is happy to share his story to help others!
